We are looking for a project manager (4 years non-permanent contract) for CReaNet, who is in charge of:
- communication with the EU (through the Program Officer in Brussels), in close collaboration with the Network Manager (Thomas Hermans)
- assisting in day-to-day aspects of CReaNet, such as: i) requesting info from all beneficiaries involved for input e.g., for periodic reports, scientific deliverables, career development plans for the PhD Students (15 ESR’s in total, “Early Stage Researchers”)
- assisting ESR’s during their internships / secondments to other countries
- organization of international meetings (typically 2 per year)
- keeping an eye on upcoming deadlines and informing beneficiaries to deliver their contribution(s)
- outreach and communication about CReaNet (through social media, the website, ….)
- establishing new collaborations in the frame of CReaNet and beyond
- helping beneficiaries pursue IP protection and technology transfer (to spin-out / start-up companies for example)
- fundraising for local events or the scheduled international meetings
- troubleshooting
Your profile is ideally:
- A PhD (or at least a master) in Chemistry, Physical Chemistry, Physics, BioPhysics, or related
- Proficiency in English and scientific writing (any additional language skills, particularly in French are appreciated)
- Flexible attitude, willingness to learn, dynamic
